Introducing Nextipedia with Professor Brian Cox at the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition

BT Ireland, organiser of the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition, is to host an exclusive business leader’s event for its valued customers, which aims to tell the unique stories of how organisations are transforming their businesses through technological innovation.

Renowned physicist Professor Brian Cox will headline this full day symposium titled Nextipedia, which will take place at the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition in the RDS, Dublin on 8th January 2020.  Professor Brian Cox OBE is an English physicist and Professor of particle physics at the University of Manchester. A Fellow at the Royal Society and popular television, radio presenter and author, he has received awards for his work in publicising science and continues to inspire audiences around the globe.

In addition to Professor Cox, the event will boast a fascinating mix of local and global business leaders to share their commercial stories of innovation, all told in reference to the Irish Governments’ Carbon Neutrality 2050 Plan.

MC for the day is Science and Wildlife presenter Liz Bonnin who has presented over 40 primetime programmes and is an honorary fellow of the British Science Association.

With a full line-up to be announced very soon, below are just some of the confirmed speakers for Nextipedia at the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition to date:

Nextipedia will be set against the backdrop of Ireland’s national festival of science and technology, an Exhibition which, over the past 56 years, and has been a launchpad for some of Ireland’s most successful scientists, technologists, academics and entrepreneurs. Guests attending Nextipedia will be invited to attend the official opening ceremony for the 2020 BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition, where Uachtaráin na hEireann Michael D. Higgins will give the keynote address.
