We're here to connect for good. If you are too, why not join us?

We’re BT Ireland. We could tell you how we’re the Irish arm of BT, a global company, with over 100,000 people in over 180 countries. We could tell you how we deliver locally and globally, working with large multinational and Irish corporates across every segment of the economy, as well as the public sector and other communications companies.

Or about our products, covering everything from cloud services, to global networking, to security, to carrier voice and data service and contact centre solutions. And that’s before we get to the broadband solutions we’re known for.

But really we want to tell you what it's like to work here.

What's it like to work here?

We mentioned that every employee gets three volunteering days a year; and you can use them to volunteer however you would like. It might be an initiative you’re already involved in or ones set up with our different charities and partners in Ireland. Like providing IT training for people from immigrant communities, delivering BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition, one of the largest school STEM events in Europe, or fundraising for the Irish Cancer Society through our innovative Shop For Change initiative. Giving back is core to our culture in BT Ireland.

The one thing the pandemic has taught us is that a lot of current and future colleagues, where and when possible, want to embrace hybrid working. Therefore, we are introducing smart working at BT. Smart working means having the flexibility to choose, as a team, how and where you work depending on your team’s deliverables and needs; when you are at your shared core location to connect with others and when not. It may not be for every role, and, as part of the recruitment process, you’ll have the chance to discuss smart working and how it might work for the job you are applying for.
