BCM Communication system

Business Communications Manager (BCM) is a communication system, combining voice and data, that helps you bring together and take control of all your business communications. It's not a one-size-fits-all product.


Nortel's world-class BCM provides a range of options to focus on your specific business needs and the way your people work. You buy only what you need now and you can upgrade or enhance your system when your business needs dictate.


BCM is compatible with other Nortel Norstar/Meridian equipment and can be expanded quickly and simply as your business needs change. This is an advanced but easy-to-use, one box solution for simple telephony right up to a sophisticated mix of voice, data and Voice over IP.


All this is backed by the unrivalled service, support, and network experience from BT. We'll help you plan the best implementation for your business, for your immediate and future needs.

BCM Options and packages

BCM comes in several starter sizes - from around 12 connections up to 300.


You’re not restricted to your initial capacity and as you grow you can add extra connections, only paying for what you need. There’s a wide choice of options and accessories that you can add to your BCM system so that it helps, not hinders, your business growth.


There are two main BCM options and a wide variety of applications to suit your needs:


BCM 50 - a great starting point, perfect for up to 40 users and offers robust telephony, voice messaging, IP networking and telephony, optional broadband access and contact centre services.


BCM 450


  • BCM450 is a NEW model being added to the BCM portfolio that expands the BCM addressable market up to 300 total users.
  • BCM450 provides a scalable migration path for the underserved Norstar Modular customer base, and opens up incremental business growth opportunities.
  • Target market is organisations with 30-300 employees.
